Brotzman, holds a Master of Science degree from the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, and was employed at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center for eleven years in the field of data archival and retrieval over the global Internet.

Advanced Data Solutions' primary service is computer security training, specializing in the Linux operating system. Information system vulnerability assessments, network administration, and software development round out the broad selection of services.

Advanced Data Solutions has trained systems adminsitration staff at every NASA field center, at every major SANS meeting over the last two years (including all GIAC certification sessions), at private institutions such as the Fred C. Hutchinson Cancer Research Institute and the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Brotzman is a member of the American Society for Training and Development, and has been involved with technical training for over ten years.

In 1995, ADS created The Electrochemical Society, Inc. (ECS) presence on the Internet, and continues its professional relationship with the ECS to this day. ADS provided consulting services for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the ECS World Wide Web server; generated, installed, and maintained the ECS Home Page; and provided documentation, tools, and training for the ECS staff in the protocols and practices of the Internet. ADS designed and implemented the ECS Tool for Abstract Submission via the Internat (ECSTASI), a web-based system for submitting scientific abstracts for ECS' semi-annual international meetings.

Mr. Brotzman's professional experience with NASA includes ten years with the Astronomical Data Center. While there, he was primarily engaged in archiving astronomical catalogs, developing procedures for network distribution of the data, and writing software for retrieving descriptive information from the archival databases. Mr. Brotzman worked for two years as an instructor in Internet computer security, training systsm administrators at several NASA centers.

Advanced Data Solutions is a company dedicated to providing training and services of the highest quality within the scientific and business communities.
